ASP Beginners: Are you still baffled by the Analyse School Performance (ASP) document which replaces the Raise Online document? Would you like the opportunity to develop the skills to be able to interpret your own ASP report. Following the very successful training run last year, Andrew Lakatos, Fairfields Associate Member, offers another opportunity for you to learn how to unpick your report and identify key areas that may benefit from further focus and attention.

This 2 hour course from LGSS is suitable for all governors who wish to have sufficient knowledge and a reasonable overview of current health and safety requirements in schools, to effectively support the Headteacher and senior leadership team.

Governing boards, having control of school premises, must take reasonable steps to ensure the health and safety of the school environment, including buildings and equipment, ensuring that adequate arrangements are in place in line with policies and procedures.  The school governor’s role in health and safety session has been designed to ensure governors have sufficient knowledge and a reasonable overview of current health and safety requirements in schools, to effectively support the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
