Continuous Professional Development course family

We welcome everyone to attend this 90 minute bitesize session that will guide you through a process to view and re-consider any stresses in your life. With a greater and less emotive appreciation of what triggers your stress and how you react, we can start to consider how to reduce our exposure and management of these pressured life events. Through a greater understanding of biological and psychological responses to stress, we can start to appreciate and plan certain strategies to help us cope effectively. At the end of the session you will understand what stress is and why we respond as we do. You will understand the harmful effect of stress hangers on and what the three types of stress are. Armed with this you will have created some clear and defined actions through categorizing your common stressors accordingly, while also losing a few along the way. We will guide you through some immediate strategies to help you cope with stress and facilitate you to reflect on what personal coping strategies work currently. We encourage you to plan some defined actions to help manage your stressors with further guidance on other support structures.
